Usage of hydraulic oil filter element

The usage of hydraulic oil filter mainly includes the following aspects:
1、 Inspection and preparation
Discharge old oil: Before replacing or installing the hydraulic oil filter element, the original hydraulic oil in the oil tank needs to be drained first.
Check the filter element: Check if the hydraulic oil filter element has iron filings, copper filings, or other impurities, which may indicate a problem with the filter element or hydraulic system.
Cleaning system: If there are impurities on the filter element, it is necessary to conduct maintenance and clean the entire hydraulic system to ensure internal cleanliness.

2、 Installation and replacement
Identification of hydraulic oil grade: Before installing a new filter element, it is necessary to identify the grade of the hydraulic oil to ensure that it matches the hydraulic system. Mixing hydraulic oil of different grades and brands may cause the filter element to react and deteriorate, producing flocculent substances.
Installation of filter element: Before refueling, it is necessary to install the hydraulic oil filter element and ensure that the pipe covered by the filter element directly leads to the main pump. This can prevent impurities from entering the main pump and protect it from wear and tear.
Replace filter element: When the filter element is clogged or fails, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner. When replacing the filter element, it is necessary to close the inlet ball valve, open the upper cover, unscrew the drain plug to drain the old oil, then loosen the fastening nut on the upper end of the filter element and remove the old filter element vertically upwards. After replacing the new filter element, it is necessary to pad the upper sealing ring and tighten the nut, and finally close the drain valve and cover the upper end cap.
3、 Refueling and Exhaust
Refueling: After replacing the filter element, it is necessary to refuel the fuel tank through a refueling device with a filter. During refueling, be careful not to let the oil in the tank come into direct contact with air to avoid oxidation of the oil.
Exhaust: After adding oil, it is necessary to ensure that the air inside the main pump has been completely expelled. The exhaust method is to loosen the pipe joint at the top of the main pump and directly fill it with oil. If there is residual air in the main pump, it may cause problems such as no movement of the entire vehicle, abnormal noise from the main pump, or damage to the hydraulic oil pump due to air pockets.

4、 Maintenance and upkeep
Regular testing: In order to ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic system and extend the service life of the filter element, it is necessary to regularly test the hydraulic oil. If the oil contamination level is found to be too high or the filter element is severely clogged, it is necessary to replace the filter element and clean the system in a timely manner.
Avoid mixing: Do not mix old and new oils, as old oils may contain harmful substances such as impurities and moisture, which can accelerate the oxidation and deterioration process of new oils.
Regular cleaning: For the maintenance of hydraulic filter elements, regular cleaning work is an essential step. If the filter element is used for a long time and the cleanliness of the filter paper decreases, it is necessary to replace the filter paper regularly according to the situation to achieve better filtration effect.
