working principle:
Paper filter element filtration: Dry type DC air filter elements usually include a paper filter element. When air passes through the filter element, dust and particulate matter in the air will be captured or attached by the fiber layer on the surface of the filter element, thereby achieving the filtering effect.
Sealing design: There are usually sealing gaskets around the filter element to ensure that air can only enter through the filter element and prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the filter element and entering the system.
Regular replacement: As the usage time increases, the filter element will gradually become clogged and needs to be replaced regularly to ensure the filtering effect.
2. Wet filtration type DC air filter element (oil bath filter)
working principle:
Oil bath filtration: The wet filtration type DC air filter element is usually filled with engine oil inside. Before entering the filter element, the air will first pass through the oil bath, and most of the dust and particulate matter will be intercepted by the engine oil.
Inertial separation: After air enters the filter element, it will flow at high speed along a specific path, producing rotational motion. Large dust particles cannot be deposited in the engine oil due to inertia and cannot follow the air flow.
Regular maintenance: It is necessary to regularly check and replace the engine oil to maintain the filtering effect of the filter element and the cleanliness of the engine oil.
3. Composite DC air filter element
working principle:
Combination filtration: The composite DC air filter may combine the advantages of dry and wet filtration, with both paper filters used for initial filtration and oil baths or oil films used for further capture of fine particles.
Efficient filtration: By combining multiple layers of filtration and various filtration mechanisms, the composite DC air filter can provide a more efficient filtration effect.
